How long have you been in business?

25 years

What is your business all about? (services, products, etc)

We manufacture a line of clothing for premature babies.

What makes your business unique?

We making clothing that addresses the unique needs of preemie babies, sizes starting at one pound. With our own special designs we are dedicated to help dress these extraordinary babies in our extraordinary clothing.

What made you start your business?

I was a young mother who loved sewing clothing for my children, one day I was made aware of the need for clothing for preemies. My love of sewing soon included these little babies. We now have a small factory in Seattle doing that sewing for us..

What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful business owner?

Determination! Love what you are doing! Continue learning, because things change so quickly.

What three pieces of advice would you give to someone who wants to launch their own business?

Research, research, research! Ask lots of questions, and try to be open to learning from those who have gone before you.

Who has been your greatest inspiration? Or what book has inspired you the most? Or what is your favorite book?

Preemie babies.

How do you conquer those moments of doubt that so often stifle or trip up or stop so many?

Take a look at pictures of preemie’s in our clothing, or read reviews of parents on how we have been a positive thing in their NICU journey.

Thank you, Cressie, for letting us share a bit about you!
