This week we are featuring
Stephanie Ouellette of
Heartspace University

How long have you been in business?

Over 10 years hiding in the shadows, less than one year standing in the light :)

What is your business all about?

I work one on one with people to help them heal from current pain (emotional, physical, etc), childhood trauma, and inherited family trauma. Many times people are simply stuck and not sure what the problem is. I am able to connect the dots within a few minutes so we can get right to the heart of the issue and fix it immediately.

What makes your business unique?

With clarifying conversations, guidance, evidence-based tools, and intelligent discussions, we tap into your complete healing and transformation. It’s a combination that’s unique… and profoundly effective.

What made you start your business?

My own search for healing and then my desire to guide others to their own healing is why I do what I do.

What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful business owner?

1) The willingness to do the work you came here to do (it’s scary) 2) Show up consistently for yourself and your people 3) Always be learning

What three pieces of advice would you give to someone who wants to launch their own business?

1) Be clear on who your people are 2) Create quality products and/or services (over and over again) 3) Offer it to your people

Who has been your greatest inspiration? Or what book has inspired you the most? Or what is your favorite book?

Brene Brown, hands down. She teaches how to live from a place of courage and wholeheartedness. This is a hard thing to do because we might fall flat on our faces, or we might get our hearts broken, or any number of other painful things. It’s so important though because if you try to protect yourself from the hard things, you also close yourself off from the good things.

How do you conquer those moments of doubt that so often stifle or trip up or stop so many?

I read or listen to an inspirational book or podcast OR I turn on some loud music and have a dance party for one. It helps get me out of that funk and back on track.

Thank you, Stephanie, for letting us share a bit about you!
